FTP software (FTP clients)
An FTP client is a piece of software that establishes a connection between the data server and the user for the purpose of uploading or downloading files. There are various free programs available, several of which can be downloaded directly here:
Cyberduck
Cyberduck is an FTP client for Mac OS and Windows. The open source program combines all of the main features of an FTP client – and several others – into a basic, user-friendly interface.
FileZilla
FileZilla is an FTP client for Windows, Mac OS and Linux. The software is used to access FTP servers with the File Transfer Protocol (FTP). Practically every file transfer on Earth is handled dependably using FTP.
WinSCP
WinSCP (Windows Secure Copy) is an FTP and SFTP client for Windows based on SSH. It facilitates secure data and file transfers between computers and servers. The user can choose between an interface that resembles either Norton Commander or Windows Explorer.
FTP Commander
