Contact with us
If you contact us for support or for an enquiry by using the form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be processed and stored by us using a third party software product called Intercom (https://www.intercom.com/legal/privacy). This system is used to enable us to capture, process and track the on-going status of your inquiry and any follow-up questions, actions and feedback. The data is held on this third party software, but only used for the purpose of processing your request.
We will not use this contact and support data for any other purposes than providing our service. Intercom has a signed agreement with us to process data correctly in accordance with our data protection regulations.
The legal base for processing your request is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR. This software is part of the overall service we provide and necessary for us to deliver of the services you have contracted us to provide.
Use, storage and forwarding of data
For the purpose of simplifying the order process and for later contract processing, we store cookies as well as IP data of the customer. In addition, the following data of the buyer are stored with us for the purpose of contract processing: first name, surname, e-mail address, street, postcode, city, country, telephone and fax number. The data provided by you is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without these data we cannot conclude the contract with you.
When using our website or hosting services, you agree, that your personal data, data of your website visitors and of your customers will be stored and processed on our servers within the data centers of our partners Hetzner Online GmbH and Netcup GmbH in Germany. Both companies are subject to the provisions of the GDPR and offer Privacy by Design. Furthermore they have entered into Data Processing Agreements with us to ensure the handling of Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Neither Company can access the data without our consent. Data will be made available to public bodies only if required by law. The legal base for processing your data is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR.
Data will only be transmitted to third parties as described in this Privacy Policy.
This includes the transmission of your data to domain registrars and registries for domain registration. However, only the minimum personal data required is transferred. Please note that we cannot avoid passing on this data to the registries. These data is stored in the databases of the registries and are publicly available via the Whois queries of the registries. For the registration of a".ch" domain, for example, the name and address of the domain holder and the technical contact are currently being forwarded to SWITCH (nic.ch), Zurich and stored there. Names and addresses can be viewed by customers and third parties at any time at www.nic.ch in the Whois query on the Internet. The registries prohibit any commercial or abusive use of the Whois.
We do not collect or store data for payments by credit card or Postcard, as credit card and postcard payments are processed via our payment service provider SIX Payment Services (https://www.six-payment-services.com/en/services/legal/privacy-statement.html#country=ch) via a secure and encrypted payment system.
We process your data to be able to provide our services. We also process personal data retrieved during visits to Hoststar – Multimedia Networks AG websites only in accordance with legal provisions. We will only make this data available to public offices when such action is legally required. Our employees are required not to disclose this data.

The data sent by us and linked with cookies, user IDs or advertising IDs are automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose retention period has been reached is automatically deleted once a month.
Using Google conversion tracking

These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification.
